Thank you so much,indibelle, for your nicely done vid and one of my favorite songs of all time. It's a shame that it apparently had to be abbreviated since it is akin to a novel with the last climactic chapter missing. I urge all, even those who may have been underwhelmed by the abbreviated version offered here, to listen to the full version asap. Thanks Indibelle, one of the best not only of Jimi's but IMHO all songs. It's epic, lyrical and extremely dynamic. It is unfortunate that "1983" apparently can't be posted in entirety because the climactic ending is the finishing touch. All should seek the entire song. It wasn't performed live largely because Jimi not only wrote and arranged it, but performed vocals, rhythm and lead as well as bass (not Noel)and only Mitch is in accompaniiment thanks again enorbet
