Roger, do you have ... ( 1 year ago by b75s)
Roger, do you have tips on how to clean the inside of the CH pedals? The reason why I am asking is because sometimes dirt from my shoes gets inside were the little rollers are(which makes the pedals move forward and back) and cause the pedals to not work properly. It is easy to take the pedals apart and clean the inside, but it's a bitch to put it back together. If you know an easier way to clean the inside plz let me know. (The outside is no problem.)

I'll have to give that one some thought. We took apart some CH rudder pedals once, and I do remember it was certainly difficult to get it back together. But there's got to be an easier way to do it!

Good stuff :)
One thing I use under my pedals, and my keyboard (I HATE wandering keyboards) is those rubber non-slip "placemats". They look like placemats, but they are marketed as pads to stop floor mats from sliding around. They work well! I can apply 100lbs of lateral force to it, and it won't budge.

in regards to ... ( 7 months ago by malanga13)
in regards to holding things down: in wood shop catalogs, such as Rockler's, etc or perhaps your local hardware, there is a "non-slip" mat for routers that is very good. Even with the pressure we put on a router plus the torque of the blade, the piece of wood you are working on won't move or slide. And there are also at Home Depot for those in the US some rubber caps that simply are glue to the bottom of the unit you want to secure, and it is quite effective.
