I'm completely aware that bands don't only listen to the genre they play. Hell, Matt says he listens to Kelly Clarkson in a video. I'm just tired of hearing "OMFG TRIVIUM RIPPED RIFF OFF ________". You gotta realise that only a certain amount of note combinations will sound good together, some songs are naturally going to sound the same, especially when played in the same tuning.
