1carlosf what u call brazilian portuguese acent is only used in brazil the european acent is used in all other countries that speak portuguese ... so if ur speaking about an usefull acent i would prefer the one that is speaked in every portuguese speaking country rather than the one used only in brazil ... In the end its all portuguese ... so we should say to people to learn portuguese no matter the acent they choose to use ...

Portugal for example depending in what region ur in there are diferent expressions and diferent ways to speak the same language ... Same with brazil there are so many diferent acents and expressions etc in brazil some are even closer to european portuguese than brazilian portuguese ... so saying that EP and BP are that diferent is simple an ignorant comment sorry

i don't think that you understand the differences between portuguese from brazil and portuguese from portugal as i do. unless you are brazilian like myself or portuguese. there are even language courses for brazilians that are going to portugal because the differences are really big. and i know there are language differences between regions here. after all, youre talking about my country.

well i am portuguese so yes i know what im talking about and i have brazilians in my family so yes i know about the reality of brazil. And i can assure u we understand each other very well, if there is an expression that is diferente we ask whats the meaning of the expression ... Same thing if there is an expression from the north of portugal and i don't understand since im from the south i simple ask ... We have the same language and yes there are some diferences but they aren't great as u say

good for you that you are port. but i never said that we didn't speak the same language. after all it is called portuguese. nor i said that the differences were so great like it should be called another language. but the differences do exist. and they are big so that other people when learning it (at first) have difficults to even notice that we are speaking the same language. but as -i said- at first. anyway. bye to ya. or like we say -'tão falô- informalmente, é claro.

Bem... lí a todos os comentários deste vídeo e estou realmente perplexa com o fato de haver brasileiros e portugueses discutindo se falam a mesma língua! Claro que falamos a mesma língua.Porém,considerando que as cultura portuguesas e brasileiras são diferentes, é de se esperar que as formas linguísticas usadas por cada povo sejam adaptadas para transmitir essas diferenças.
