On my trip to the Philippines, the first city that I visited after Manila was Baguio. We left Manila on a hot, humid day ... sat on the runway sweating in the cabin of the YS-11 ... then finally got airborne and headed to Baguio. After ~45 minutes of flying, the mountains came up from the plains, and we landed on a mountain top airstrip. It was *much* cooler in baguio!

Very nice video. I remember in 2006 when my family and I traveled in a big van from Manila to Baguio. It took maybe 6 hours (we had to stop for breakfast) so we had to leave early in the morning. It was cool riding up the mountains and you suddenly feel the warm air switch to cooler air. I also stayed at a beautiful Hotel in Baguio City called Hotel Supreme. And one of my aunties lives higher up in the mountains of mist in this 3-story cottage or something. It was an adventure!

I'm just about to book the exact same flight with Asian Spirit. flying into manila on 27th and am massively excited. i love the philippines. 2nd time round - doing northern luzon and palawan. last time spent a month in the visayas. i'm SOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!

I also took a YS-11 flight from Cagayan de oro city to cebu, and ill tell you, it was a bumpy flight...not mentioning a bumpy landing once the plane touched down...hit hard on the runway hahaha..good vid bro
