no - thats called improvising - shredding means playing ultrafast - its a technique issue - thats what we want coaching on - speed, not improvising.

trust me, they do not work, you get the same result from playing, they are a complete waste of money, great for warming up your fingers before a gig or practice, but do not actually help finger strength
