matt hughes offered to fight out of his weightclass, too; he was - probably not too smartly - willing to engage A Silva a while back. Yet, despite that, I don't see too many hawaiians or bj nut-huggers giving hughes props. As for character: A pompous A-hole who makes dark insinuations about other fighters cheating when they beat him, a guy who licks opponents' blood off his gloves, and a guy who basically acts like a spoiled 13-year old - is not someone who should be idolized. no class
