Slipknot aren't Nu- metal. Have u heard the stuff from the new album? There's no way in hell they are Nu-metal. Nu- metal was just a term invented in the 90's so that bands like Slipknot, Papa Roach, Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park and any othet band that are similar could all be 'labeled' under one genre.
They have all evolved musically since then, for instance, Papa Roach and Linkin Park are now shit. Limp Bizkit are nearing it, but not quite there, and Slipknot are ball crushingly awesome.
