Honestly the beginning is really boring and very simple and isn't in the same style/basic ideas of the rest of the solo. He's definitely good but can't keep a tempo and hit's wrong keys a LOT causing many dissonance notes to be heard which are not intended. Just because it's fast, it doesn't mean it's extremely good.

He was a pioneer when the Moog synthesizer first was introduced, along with Keith Emerson(ELP), and it is too bad you missed these guys when they were in their prime. Whaaa. He missed a key! Maybe because he improvises and plays from the heart LIVE, instead of right off of the sheet music. You can disagree, even though your wrong!

ABWH era stuff...Wakeman has always been a HUGE influence on me...not just with regard to keyboards, but music interpretation as a whole. It's great to see his son following in his footsteps...not so much as a clone, but as a great keyboard player on his own.

Of course Rick has done great work; solos and with YES, but to say that this solo is not worthy, when I've seen it done flawlessly live on the ABWH tour in NYC sends an ignorant message, asshole! Anyone who has ever seen YES w/Rick or solo knows he is one of the best, and this is a beautiful piece, shithead!
