there is one riff which is even slightly similar and it isn't even that close. Get a grip... You only hold a grudge on trivium because your jealous. They did what you cant. And you resent them because of it.

....got myself ascendency, every single song on there sounded like a song I already knew.
As I said before, enjoy them if you want to by all means, I physically can't because I know all the songs that their songs are CLEARLY based off.
It's just kinda sad you kids need metal to be packaged into the musical equivilent of a happy meal before you pay attention to it...

You think I just listen to trivium? :P I just think its sad you bash a band cause they have riffs that sound alike to other bands. Its called influence. im sure you will find this in bands other than trivium..

I'm not saying other bands DON'T have riffs that sound the same in other bands. There's nothing wrong with that happening from time to time and I'm guilty of it myself.
But when it's EVERY SINGLE SONG (I'm not even kidding here, that is gods honest truth) and when it just so happens to be from the exact bands and influences that they couldn't be wearing more on their sleeve it just kinda takes the piss a bit don't you think?
