Never implied that. I'm speaking of modernized warfare. No doubt there were many wars before the industrial revolution. Before, most wars really were carried out in the name of a god, but mostly with an underlying thirst for greed and/or power.. it doesn't matter when... the crusades were a good example of a corrupt religious war before the industrial revolution. If you can ever find it...(it's rare)... there is a DEMO version that was distributed when the were on their 1st tour....(can't recall the exact year). It was a clear plastic demo tape that System was handing out at a show that I caught at a tiny bar in San Diego, CA. named the "Brick By Brick". This DEMO version is soooooo much meatier and dark sounding.... Guitar is down tuned a bit and doubled and the vocals are a lot fuller. If you can ever find it, it is the "REAL" version of WAR. SO SICK!
