not sure if same show but he got a roadie sacked for nudging him & shouting in his ear when a simple note in large letters 'extend solo as steve's bass rig is down' or something would have done. It was bruce he came close to maiming after 'arry sussed the aftershow row was being taped!

That was a tape recording called "Mission from 'arry" and the discussion was between Steve and Niko. Bruce then got closer, started his tape recorder and got into the discussion. The first time I knew about that was on a magazine back in 1992 and you can hear tht from maiden in the "Live after Death" DVD.

It was on the world slavery tour,(powerslave tour ) 1985, steves bass gear, all hiss amps went out and broke down so, bruce found the closet guy on the edge of the stage he could, and it was a lighting rigger, and said go tell nicko to extend the drum solo steves bass amps is stuffed, and the rodie got nicko distracted and f****d him up so he decked him after the show.
