The basic pulse of the music changes very slowly, if at all. Likewise, the dynamics change very slowly and remain within a very narrow range. The harmonic range doesn't change at all, and the melodic components are repeated quite a few times before they give way to other components. Yes, there is variety in this music. Just nowhere near enough, in my opinion.

well lexo, thats what u get when u take in your shot of minimal music. With all the variety you clearly need to enjoy yourself, this music wouldnt be the intriguing piece of listening experience it wanted to be, standing out from all that music with lots of 'variety'.
