The is an fantastic movie, I think it must have inspired 'Flatliners' a little. The trailer does mention that the story goes that if you put yourself in danger of death, the asphyx which represents your soul, appears, and if you can trap it renders you immortal!

I don't know about flatliners but this film must have definately inspired a season 6 x file where a photographer has captured death itself on some photographs, and on top of all this he can not die.

This is a good horror movie. Inspired some of the scenes in Ghostbusters. Especially where ghosts get trapped in the laser beam.
