Seo Taiji Boys' debut. It was first broadcasted in MBC in 1992 where new artists would perform and get judged by a panel of critics. Taiji boys got the lowest score in the show, but the audience differed and changed the way music was done in Korea. Korean music can be divided in two eras: Pre Seo Taiji and Post Seo Taiji. Also, they gave rise to the boy bands that we see in Korea today.

lol don't worry. its same with me. But I guess Seotaiji's music is timeless.... I mean I still listen to his first 4 albums, yet it doesn't feel that weird at all.

That's a strong debut. Most artist could only hope to perform that solidly in a similar situation. Gotta love how the judges weren't impressed. Goes to show that it's not what prefessionals think that determines success. It's the general audiance.

They came to socal like in the mid 90's at the Korean festival. Man I couldn't even see them live b/c there were like 10,000 people on one small block. Look at the judges they're seriously like 50, of course they'd hate on them.

First judge said their rhythm is good but the melody line is a careless one. Second judge said their lyrics seem a common one and need more creativenesses. Third judge said their dance is aggressive and it buries the soft melody lines.

Last judge said that he first saw Seo Taiji in Sinawe (a metal rock band) and noticed metal rhythms in the song. He said he will not say much because only the audience (or people) can decide whether their music is worth or not.

How ironic is that? There were gods in the 90s and Seo Tai Ji's legend still lives on. Pfffft. Rock on STJ. oh and btw Ji Seok Jin's album at the beginning puhahahaha classic. that one cracked me up xD
