At the time this came out I was 14 in 1986. It was considered smooth rock with a hard edge. The guy out front was very retro, almost a 50s style throwback. It was considered very good rock technically and in terms of the video production (top international models) which was riveting for obvious reasons to many. But I didn't really get it until Simply Irresistable came out in 1988. The woman playing the guitar solo was unusual for that time and the song rocked harder and sharper. I liked that.
