The piece is an expression of the psychology of torture. A
representation of the dual relationship between the torturer and the
tortured. The purpose of torture is often as much to force
acquiescence on an enemy, or destroy a person psychologically from
within, as it is to gain information. The disruption usual cognitive
processes makes it feel like the torture is never-ending for the one
being tortured, and the torturer turns the act into perverted intimacy
by turning into the center of the victim's universe.The torturer
invades the subject's body, pervades his psyche, and possesses his
mind. Deprived of contact with others and starved for human
interactions, the prey bonds with the predator. How the torturer
copes through official encouragement and dehumanization. The
relationship between the two players,the power games and pain, the
realities destroyed and shared are the subject matter of the project.

I did see some real torture during the time I was locked up, this is not even soft torture compared to that :P Although you have captured the sadist/masochist dimension of torture and all power relations in a sense.
