actually no, i'm not done. so you assume i'm not from america. don't you know what they they say about assuming? anywho, they both had sob stories going for them, one with the supposedly abusive father and the other with and ill brother, so i really don't think that was a factor. imo, neither one of them were worthy of the title. if you think about it, how many of the contestants are worthy of the title? for me, i'd say maybe only kelly, carrie, and daughtry. so i guess you're done. gracias.

i actually don't know what they say about assuming and i honestly don't really care. But I just want to mention the fact that Cook did deserve the title because he took songs and twisted them and made them is own. A truly respectable task. Archuleta just had a good voice. And it ended there. He didn't have anything else to offer like Cook's uniqueness. So instead of wasting your time and mine I suggest you stop trying to prove yourself because your pretty bad at it.

DaLuV78, i hope for his sake that he wasn't because no one deserves that, but i kept seeing it online and i think it was mentioned on e! news once. from what i understand, his father seemed to be more mentally abusive than anything, but i wouldn't be surprised if it went beyond that. apparently he's a hardcore stage dad.

David's dad is a great guy. This was started by TMZ and played up by the media. Family friends, David himself has said that talk about his Dad was totally wrong. There are tons of interviews with David and others refuting this. There is a site "Counting David's Character" where people who know the Archuletas talk about them and what a great family they are.
