the reason we dont see it as 'hollow' is because our brains always see faces as petruding..not hollow its almost impossible to see it as hollow

This guy is amazing, he lectured us the other week in my cognitive psychology lecture, he was fantastic, it was the most stimulating lecture i have had in a really long time, he's done loads of work on visual perception if anyone is interest google richard gregory he has a webpage :D
