The reason this guy got these viruses is because he is a complete fucking idiot. I have never got a virus from limewire because i know what format to download for music: only mp3 (if you download anything else like wma you will 100% get a virus), video: avi,mpg,mpeg only (mpg and mpeg are the same format but on limewire sometimes it spells mpg and sometimes mpeg) photos: doesn't matter, programs: I suggest you don't download anything but if you must the only thing you can download is .jar

First of all you obviously aren't a computer person. Limewire isn't a website, its a program. Its a file sharing program and its P2P (peer 2 peer). This means every file you download from it is on someone elses PC, you download it from a person who also uses Limewire, not the people that own Limewire.

Actually any computer can get a virus, Macs are more stable and more software is written for windows. Macs get viruses but not as easy because of the software made for a mac.
