You know, after nearly three months of listening to this album, I might have to agree. It is not as technical as Justice, but it is far more dynamic. Plus, out of all the albums, this one sounds the most like how they sound live.

Thank You!, Finally someone who really knows music like myself being a Musician. Metallica is at their Best with Dynamics, Tempo Changes, Rythms,Style, Phrasing, etc. Not too many bands can say they have played with the San Francisco Symphony or any Orchestra for that matter.

Actually, the full fidelity album is a horrendous disaster technically and has received massive criticism from the entire audio engineering community. Some people are throwing around the word "dynamics" a lot here. It's not possible that they are referring to the technical term that describes the difference between a sound's loudest part and softest part, otherwise they'd know that this album is utterly void of it. Just about everything is compressed beyond recognition.

Correction, dynamics is a range, not a difference. It is unfortunate because the music is great in my opinion, but when it comes to a record, there can be no great music without the proper representation. The engineers who made this record did this band an extreme injustice.

This kind of statement is beyond ridiculous. "Just about everything is compressed beyond recognition." If you want to be taken seriously, then dispense with the hyperbole. SOME elements are compressed to the point of making it difficult to recognize the (technical) dynamics. However, I am a musician not an audio engineer, and when I refer to DYNAMICS, I am talking about the music, not the sound. As I said before, the quality of the audio is not as important as the quality of the music.
