They wanted to take all the profit, and now they want the public purse, through the federal government,to absorb all the risk. Such ignorance never ceases to piss me off! Did any of you "commenters" even graduate from middle school? The Clearwater (FL) homeowner MUST fight this egregious attempt by WAMU to foreclose. The US legal system demands the Lender produce the NOTE and prove it has a right to foreclose. What is difficult for you to understand? This is not about "theft" or paying vs not paying.... This is about protecting the LETTER of the law, not circumventing the law. These people are NOT deadbeats!
