There's a difference between doing an homage project and making your career off 'mediocritising' music that has already been done. But you don't have to justify the things you like to any of us and if you're not completely comfortable with your musical tastes, you could always try listening to something different. (I've never seen Mike play the arrogance card, he was just being candid here. Go watch some of his interviews, he's polite as hell)
