that's not that linear though. Imagine you have a clone, it's not proper to say you are both the same person, altough the genes are the same. In the End the schalla that was fused with time devourer was not the kid you spent you adventure with. So, which schalla/kid are we seing? The one in time devourer, or the one stabbed?

i'll wake you up then -.- the ending is kid searching for serge with the hopes of her astral amulet allowing her to rip through dimensions to achieve that purpose.. its sort of romantic if you understand it..i love the Chrono series and curse enix(meh not really) for not making a another series..it could be..chrono shift? LOL

The ending FMV in a full screen. I am glad that the ending song was kept in its original Japanese in the English version of Chrono Cross. Sometime I do wonder if a third Chrono game will ever get made.
