It seems to me that every time there was a mentor on this show, they were particularly impressed with Cook's talent. He either changed up the song to make it his, or just showed what an awesome voice he has.

I don't really favor one over the other. I honestly don't. I'm just happy to see the Idol winners succeed, because I like the show and I like that Idol is keeping pop music somewhat popular and relevant, in this world of dominating hip/hop (which I hate).
