If you can't distingish between Mad TV and Monty Python, than the true value of really brilliant comedy is obviously completely wasted on you. It's like saying, "Hey if you like Groundhog Day, you will love 50 First Dates, or if you like National Lampoons Vacation, you'll love Johnson Family Vacation!"

The SNL or Mad TV sketches are not to be compared to the brilliant monty python sketches. I must agree that British humor is the best out there. Chappelle's show is also quite good (i know i am comparing oranges to apples) nonetheless nothing compares to a great python or blackaddar sketch
