For nearly 300 years the christians of rome led by the popes suffererd percecution and martyrdom, how can martyrdom be a sign of anti-christ ? For over a 1000 years it was the catholics of europe in unity with the church fought severe battles to hold off the invading muslims. If it were'nt for the catholic church most of the western world would be praying facing mecca 5 times a day.
