I've noticed if you go for just music you're usually fine. It's when you go for programs or documents that you have trouble. Besides I can easily erase the viruses.Every few months I take the start-up disks for my computer, back-up any music, pictures, documents, saved games, and videos I want with CDs, and erase the operating by completely deleted the hard drive and then re-installing the operating system. It destroys any and all viruses because if you erase the harddrive they can't hide.

I HOP THAT EVERYONE REALIZES that LimeWire itself does not give you viruses, so it is okay if you have the program on your computer. However, if you do not custom check every single file you download for viruses or malware or whatever, it will hurt your computer.

lol Limewire has returned bitch! you wanna be careful when youre downloading Limewire. note that viruses will have weird names such as (your search term) (some weirdo porn words) and the file size will typically be significantly smaller than the file you want to download. really pay attention to file size. its an easy way to avoid the real virus

when i installed it, it kept causing java problems and gave me a virus which continually kept trying to attack my pc for a month. I found loads of movie files as .zip in a really stupid named folder in windows fonts, got rid of them and the after a month or so, the virus stopped attempting to come in, my antivirus software blocked it everytime. Sometimes i would have an 'overbuffer run' in windows explorer which was pretty annoying! It is no longer affecting me which is good!

limewirre sucks... the first time i used it..it gave fukin 5 viruses..after that i uninstalled it... dat shit didn't even last fuking 2 hours in my computer... fuk limewire.. go with blubster...its spyware and malware free...trust me i have been using blubster for past a year..and it didn't cause me no problem...

What you well need to do is download mozila fire fox and keep enternet explorer as your main internet. It tricks the virus and just use mozila fire fox.. I have the same thing. I got rid of it though with AVG (Search AVG Anti Virus on youtube) and got rid of it...
