Re watch the series, its not that he wasn't on it. Its that he couldn't he was ready for it to explode. He explicitly said he wanted the planet to explode so there wouldn't be anything to hold the atmosphere so goku would sufficate. So your points are more like inconsitinciece in the series if you think about it.

actually youre points are inconsistencies considering you are relying on a single moment that is an exception to the entire series. the explosion would still be dangerous to freeza. also, this started with the question of the human z fighters ability to blow up planets. they are stronger than vegeta from the saiyan saga (who could destroy planets) by the beginning of the android saga and even stronger by cell and even stronger by buu. they WERE nothing compared to freeza, but are now stronger.
