dude, what the HELL are you on about!? Slayer has never, ever been death metal.. death metal has very deep or generally incomprehensible vocals with generally downtuned guitars and blastbeats. Thrash is Slayer, Slayer is THRASH! Also, Trivium black metal!? Now I know you're taking the piss..

He hung himself. The song is about war, battle fatique and the soldiers/veterans suffering from it - they are often completely exhausted and traumatized - their mind has been stressed to the absolute limit. When they get home their problems are completely overlooked(Kudos to the US government) and the veterans often end up committing suicide because they no longer know how to cope in civilian life. This vid is a true story that has happened numerous times - and will continue to happen.
