I wrote this song and it's very long (7:44), and its written like a story. Each new musical part of the song tells a story. So as you listen to the song, read the part that corresponds. I've found that this Style of reading while listening is really interesting.
(0:00- 2:00) ... Imagine you are in space just whizzing all over the solar system. You float through space and a glow catches your eye. its planet earth... you see it from an astronaut's view and you are just in awe at this big glowing blue globe that is our planet... You wonder what's going on down there... (wait until the song gets to 2:00 before you read the next part, same goes for other parts)
(2:00- 2:40) All of a sudden out of nowhere you begin flying towards the earth at incredible speed. You hurl towards the earth with a sound of whooshing wind scraping your ears. you see the earth in all its beauty, but things are going by much too quickly. you begin to hear muffled voices and it sounds like a lot is going on all around you, voices are speaking everywhere. You feel really ambiguous towards this floating rock rotating around the sun...
(2:40- 3:50) You start to hear people having fun, relaxing and enjoying life. The fun, relaxation and happiness of life fills your soul. A smile graces your face. You feel warm from within. Life on earth seems really great. To the left of you, and to the right of you, there are many beautiful things on earth to see, and many fun people to meet...
(3:50- 5:00) You start to hear people going through hardships, a creeping sadness tugs at your heart strings, you hear people getting betrayed by their friends, cheated on by their spouses... a sad feeling irks at your stomach.. whats happening..
(5:00- 6:00) You watch in horror, as thousands of innocent children die from hunger and malnutrition. You see young kids getting shot in gang violence, terrorism and war... (5:20- 5:40) You hear news reports of mass murder in public places and violence in schools... You watch greedy people pollute our earth for profit... (5:40- 6:05)
(6:00- 7:44) You see politicians get busted in sex scandals, you watch in horror as people plot to kill and rob other people, you watch bush order more young men to their deaths until more young men die then died in the terrorist attacks on September 11th Planet earth... seems like hell. You no longer want to stay. You've got to fly.. fly fly fly away from this place.

yes, it took me longer to write the story for the song then to write the actual song haha. Oh the Irony.
