He was doing voiceovers for WWF videotapes. He officially debuted at WM9 but I think this is from a tape that came out after. Raw commentators then were Vince McMahon, Randy Savage, and a comedian named Rob Bartlett.

Biggest problem I see now, is that wrestling has turned into a basic cable program. There is less wrestling and TOO much drama. I agree with you that this area is the best, but the later years had some decent matches. I grew up with the old school, so I too, am impartial. It actually meant something when someone was champion back then.

Ted DiBiase was my favorite heel. I remember as a kid I absolutely hated the Million Dollar man, but as I got older I grew to like him more and more. He had amazing mic skills and not to mention he had the absolute BEST entrance music of all time. MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY...everybody's got a price...hahahaha!

Heenan was colour man, JR and Solie were play-by-play men, so you can't really compare them. Heenan's commentary during the '92 Royal Rumble match was the best single performance of any colour commentator, in my opinion.
