yeah but the lightness or heaviness can make it easier or harder to play depending on the person. Like I use super light picks, for some reason the flexibility makes it much easy to play the strings without mistakes.

I agree and all, but picks provide a major contribution to your sound; It's just stupid to get completely picky about them (don't overthink it), but don't underestimate how a choice of pick affects your sound. I know your probably aware of this, but for anybody reading, a player needs to be aware of all the variables contributing to their sound... sorry, I'm preaching lol, just good things to think about

Are you talking about using a coin for a pick? cause I'd actually recently noticed that the sharper edges of it tend to energize the string more... but it's harder to do softer stuff.
