Excellent reply freenow77, couldn't have said it better myself. The common sheeple are dumbed down enough that they don't realize the government pays alot of money to intelligent attornies to twist the legal wording around so that words that might have a seperate meaning, mean something entirely different then what they are.
Exactly correct PNW ... ( 3 months ago by tjoslin1)
Exactly correct PNW, the Internal Revenue Code was written so as to make people believe they had to pay it when in fact, it only applies to people who have "income". Anyone recieving enough "income" in a given tax year, for example, would be liable, but did they recieve any "income" that year? Most likely not.
"Income" is a legal term and was defined in a few court cases:
So. Pacific vs. Lowe, 247 U.S. 330 (1918)
Merchants Loan and Trust Co. vs. Smietanka 255 U.S. 509 (1921)

If only everybody in america would stop paying their taxes IRS would collapse. That will never happen cause people like this dumbass guy telling us on the video how its fundamentally right to pay taxes. BS he wont admit he is wrong cause it contradicts what he preaches. IRS was forced on the US in 1933 when our money stopped getting backed by gold. Now our money says backed by tender which means our money is backed by nothing . IRS is screwing up our dollar value and we pay them to do that

Reporter asked about the tax, in general, and not INCOME tax so the answer was also about the tax and not the income tax.

I don't like to pay taxes either, but they are necessary. It is the dishonest way it is done which I do not like, and the Federal Reserve should be dismantled. They should be audited like any agency, and yet they are not. Talk about scary! WE the people, because of taxes do benefit in the many programs funded by taxes. I think some are frivilious and not needed, but others are necessities.

Not one cent from the Personal Income Tax goes to fund government, after waste and fraud the rest goes to pay the interest on the national debt which is owed to the private Federal Reserve owners. Second, there is no law saying that any one must pay a Personal Federal Income Tax.

Based on some research:
Title 1 Funds, Title 4B, Title 4E, and try the U.S. Department of Transportation
Federal Highway Administration
SAFETEA-LU, Classification Code N 4510.684.
It appears that federal funds are being used as I explained. I have not looked up all the titles, just these...so far.
Realize also a big portion is going towards the interest on national debt. We are in deep chit, no doubt about that.

As to your Second comment, I realize we do not have to pay taxes on our earned salary. With that said, I still believe we need to pay taxes. Taxes are what run many of the 1000s of programs all of us need in one form or another. Looking for a solution to this is the number one problem that needs to be tackled.
Here is how the ... ( 3 weeks ago by eklypse0)
Here is how the federal income taxes work..
Congress determines the budget.
Congress requests the money from the Federal Reserve, in the form of a loan, for that money.
The Federal Reserve waves it's wand and invents that money out of thin air. Like any creditor, it loves the fact that the debtor will never be able to pay the full amount back.
The average, half asleep American works their time and voluntarily gives up about a 3rd of that time, as money to pay on the interest of that loan.

That is the socialist route of indoctrination you have grown accustomed to. A huge percent Those 1000s of programs are all unconstitutional and the government has no business in performing them. Not only that but the government performs them poorly and ineptly. Then there is the point that government tells people what to do in areas that, again, they have no business in.

You know eklypse, this is an imperfect world, with imperfect people running it. I agree, that there are programs not worth funding, but again, do we throw the baby out with the bathwater? We live in a nation that has more to offer than any other place in the world. We are in dire straights now, along with the rest of the world. Again, I agree that this country needs restructuring in the method of collecting taxes.

continued: I am far from being rich, so I really feel the pinch that taxes take from my income, especially being retired. If it wasn't for the fact that this nation benefited from that "socialist route" for many years, I might agree with you. Hope you voted, because the representatives we elect to "run" the big machine will be the proof in the pudding, sort to speak. Hopefully they will be able to work together to bring this nation back to what it was not so long ago. Not a easy task.
I raised my voice ... ( 1 week ago by eklypse0)
I raised my voice to my Congressman and my Senators before this 'bailout'. From a poll right on the government website, 72% of the PEOPLE were against the bailout. Only 12% were for the bailout.
The first vote went against the first bailout. But the second bailout ignored the will of the PEOPLE. Apparently, neither the body of congress nor the body of the Senate are doing the will of those who voted them in.
So, we may need a little more then words to affect change.

[... with the bathwater?]
I think we need to start phasing out the socialist programs and training our kids to save for items rather then max out their easy to get credit cards.
How much would the economy surge upwards if there were 30% real money per individual to either save, spend or just get out of debt.
Then a Congressman brought out a report that the United states will soon be in $45 trillion in debt if we continue this. That means over $150,000 owed per EVERY person. (babies included)
