"perscription drugs rather than illegal ones." and yeah, listen to the lyrics, some benzo`s are prescribed to people with bipolar schizophrenia and cyclothymia disorders to control the mood-swings, but it tends to dull most emotional receptors a make you more of a zombie than a human, the lyrics show this is what it's talking about. although, remember that Steven Wilson is loose on terms of lyrical interpretation, so there isn't much chance that this song has a fixed, adamant meaning.

im 15 and i live in this rich people town even though im not rich with all these kids who do drugs they sell at lunch in the courtyard and school, everywhere its stupid. kids need to pick up an instrument and stop listening to all that emo stuff. ive never done drugs 85 percent does easily. i never had to with my guitar and progressive music... my life it far from perfect and i see what is wrong with society. i see, but i know we need to change it. this video shows.
