I think ...And Justice for All is one of their best albums written, with that said, it does sound like utter shit production. What he is saying about the production is spot on, it's bone dry with no full sound like the MoP album, the snare sounded clicky and the bass and lead guitar were sort of drowned out leaving a overly loud sounding rhythm.
