Dio is completely right about America, music wise, it makes me sad to be an American because most of America follows trends. But then again, and I think I can speak for most Americans that as the minority that follows real and true music like Dio, we can feel prideful and special because we know whats right. Great interview. Dio tells it like it is. I am not a metal fan but agree with everything he has said about the american mentality to music. What a down to earth dude. Would love to down a few pints with him. My friend Eddie drank with Ricthie Blackmore years ago in Long Island, NY and had a fucking blast.

I LOVE Ronnie James Dio the man has an AWESOME voice Loved him with Rainbow(band), Black Sabbath(band)*side note Heaven & Hell album(Great)*,DIO(band)i love the music industry points he makes in this video! The man to a certain extent makes a lot of sense i totally agree! Listen to what the man says 0:42 to 3:20 He shares many of the thoughts i've noticed about the music industry & where it's heading for the most part Nice interview!
