Whomp 'Em (for the Nintendo Entertainment System / Famicom home console, by Jaleco) - Sacred Forest stage playthrough. Whomp 'Em is a side scrolling action / platformer that is similar to Mega Man. Whomp 'Em is often underrated, and is one of the many classic 2d action games that Jaleco released in the eighties and nineties. Jaleco still produces new games for current home platforms (including Microsoft XBox, Sony Playstation 2, and Nintendo Wii), as well as handheld systems (DS, PSP). I captured this footage because Sacred Forest is my favorite stage in Whomp 'Em, and yes I was cheating the game a bit :P

I loved playing this game growing up; it was one of my favourites! I enjoyed watching this. Any plans on doing a full speed run (would definitely love to see it!) 5 stars. :)

I'll work on practicing up! As you can probably tell, I ran through the stage only a few times prior to capturing this footage. I can at least do it in segments after figuring out the best stage order again! I'd categorize it as a walkthrough rather than a speed run - but if I got good enough at the game again, I could indeed do the latter. Thanks for your compliments and rating!

Yeah, it is definitely one of the most awesome games that no one ever played. Great graphics, music, stages, powerups, and then there's the cool abilities you get after each stage.

The music for this level is incredibly awesome. One of my favorite NES tunes. The game's music in general is extremely high in quality.

The lack of a long range weapon makes this game appear difficult. Also, it has been mentioned, however, really striking similarities with the MM series.

i played this game a couple times, my cousin had er sisters old nes is the closet we took it out the only gme that wrked was this game its soo awesome!
