actually i like Jason's work aside Metallica.Flotsam-Jetsam's early work was written by Jason.But Cliff brought a breakthrough sound to the bass....and yes the guy studied his craft.he knew music.there isn't a bassist i know who could match him save Billy Sheenan.Ellefson,Lilker great bassists.but are not Cliff.
